A Free Storyboarding Program For Fiction And Movies
The StoryBoard Pro program was created by Atomic Learning. They created it for free to help students and teachers create movies and narrative texts. The idea behind the software is to help you break your narrative down into sections that you turn into scenes on a storyboard.
A Great Freeware Program For StoryBoarding
The StoryBoard Pro program is freeware which means you do not have to pay for it but it also means it comes without support. The interface allows you to split your narrative up into sections. Name your section and give it a description before you set it up as a scene. You may add images to make your storyboard more useful or you may choose to have a written description in the image's place. You may indicate the shot or scene type and you may indicate what type of music still title or even what type of lighting will be involved. It isn't CPU (Central Processing Unit) heavy it uses the FileMaker Pro runtime engine.
Conclusion - Easy To Handle And Intuitive To Use
The StoryBoard Pro program is rather sophisticated when you consider its (free) competitors on the Internet. The Atomic Learning Company does not offer support but their website does have tutorials on how to use the software. The program installs easily and many of the tutorials are only there to help you understand the less intuitive aspects of the software.

Non Functional.
Tried downloading this, but after opening the provided .zip file, there was no .exe file to run the program, and/or with which to install it.
Cons:
The entire program was missed, based on results. More

Good but Too Expensive.
This software is very versatile and has good drawing tools and is very speedy at exporting an animatic with object and camera moves. I enjoy using the interface. What's mainly wrong with it is the price tag. Considering you can create animatics with relatively cheap or free software, you are really paying for an expensive integration of the static storyboard to animatic. In my view, considering it's features it should cost no more than a third of it's current shelf price.
Pros:
Having drawing and output to animatic in the one interface.
Good use of camera operations
Easy to edit and alter timing.
Good printing options.
Cons:
cost More
